Read today in newspaper that Williams Sonoma (famous Californian company for kitchen utensils, cookware and much more...) will close his Bloor store in 2015 January... the fault to the always raising rental fees...
Arggghhh.... If a such famous and wealthy company can’t no more afford a store on the (what is said) best location in Toronto for a high end brand, imagine for a small business... Harsh time even for Bigs :) This Sunday July the 13th, organized and conducted by the Consulate of France and the Alliance France here inToronto, a french market with nice products to eat or wear... Did you made it? I was there with my Creme caramel, my two Crazy sauces caramel: Grand Marnier and Chocolate/Violet and my book.... Success... Gourmet and smily people...
Others pics on the Consulate website... Next Sunday, the July 13th, the French community in Toronto will celebrate in this nice place... Organized by the Consulat of France de Toronto and l’Alliance Française de Toronto a long day of nice events is waiting for you: picnic, French products market, and a bal with good music...
See you there :) The May 28th, some handcrafted french ladies again, at the Alliance Française in Toronto, for delicate goods.....
Menu of the day: white fish filets papillottes, sauce Gribiche, Grand Marnier pastry cream...
Meetup this month at a very popular café, Crêpes à Gogo, operated by a french lady since 10 years... She serves the crepes tight fold in a brown bag paper... Not really the right way we always eat them in France, but they were very good....
A large and bright kitchen and 9 marmitons to learn all about pâte à chou (puff pastries)... this very versatile recipe, perfect for Salmon and pink pepper mousse, Mornay bouchées, Chocolate and ice cream Profiteroles... Yummy yummy......
