October 19th. Book signing of the book in The Kitchen Place in Yorkville, a kitchen an baking utensils boutique. Set downtown, 840 Yonge St, one of the most busy street in Canada...
First Meetup for the Gourmet french lady Toronto Club... Wine & Cheese pairing at Chabichou a nice place where you can find a lot of french cheeses and deli... plus some french iconics sweets... But today was focused on wines and cheeses... 4 larges platters to come along the wines I had choose, from "light" to "strong"... Very interested gourmets....
5 chefs at the Fortress of Louisbourg... Great moment... and big fun for 2 days all together... So proud and so happy to be there...
I will be in Louisbourg (NS) the July 28th, to run a "Historic Chocolate" demo in the Mc Can Museum, at the entrance of the Fortress. Come and taste chocolate rissoles, hot or chilled real chocolate, Biscuit de Savoie, all baked after the historical recipes of the 18th, that you can find in the book.
I will make some signature time with Anne Marie Lane Jonah my co-author and our publisher. I was blessed this month. The book was awarded at the Atlantic Book Awards in Halifax (NS). The photo shows also Anne Marie Lane Jonah, my co-author and friend
, and Mike Hunter the publisher (Cape Breton University Press). |
